Tawaraya Sōtatsu's masterpiece: the gods of wind and thunder, attendants of the Thousand-Armed Kannon, on a pair of gold two-panel screens. Unsigned and unsealed yet accepted as Sōtatsu's own hand, it was designated a National Treasure in 1952. Owned by Kennin-ji, Kyoto, and deposited at the Kyoto National Museum.
