Ido bowls are Korean tea bowls of the early Joseon dynasty, probably everyday ware where they were made, but treasured by Japanese tea masters for embodying wabi. Named after the Osaka merchant Takeda Kizaemon, a former owner, this bowl is a designated National Treasure. Kohō-an, Daitoku-ji, Kyoto.
